Since its launch in 2018, Facebook Live has been a feature that is loved and used by many people. Thanks to Facebook Live, you can sell goods, live stream games or share moments and photos with everyone very quickly. Viewers can interact, comment, and share during the live stream.

How to live stream Facebook on your phone

We make this guide using iOS 15.4.1. With other iOS or Android versions, you can do the same.

Step 1: At the interface of the Facebook app on the phone, click What’s on your mind.

Step 2: Select Live Video

Step 3: Add some basic settings for your live stream, including:

+ Describe the content of the live stream, add emotions, check-in locations, and tag friends (red area in the image below).

+ Add effects, filter (yellow area).

+ Adjust camera, and flash (blue area).

Step 4: Click Go Live.

Step 5: To stop the live stream, click Finish. You can choose to save the video or not.

How to live stream Facebook on the computer

Step 1: Use a browser (Chrome, Firefox…) and access facebook.com > At the interface on Facebook’s browser, select Live Video.

Step 2: Similar to the phone, you add some basic settings for your live stream session.

+ Add description, title, emotion, tag friends, check in location (red area in the image below)

+ Adjust video source, and recording equipment (yellow area).

Step 3: Select Go Live to start.

To stop the live stream, select End Live Video > Click End to confirm.

You can choose to edit the video to post, or delete the video and return to the Facebook home screen after the live stream is complete.

How to go live on SportCam

Step 1: At the setting for the live stream session on your computer browser, click on the Streaming software and copy the Stream Key. If you don’t have a computer, you can use the Chrome browser on your phone to get this Stream Key.

Note: You should not let anyone know this Stream Key to avoid being used by others to go live with your account.

Step 2: Paste this Stream Key into the SportCam app and click Next to start your live stream session. Very simple, right?
